Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Consulting by AUS collects when you use this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how to get it deleted. It is written to be read, not to be impenetrable.
The data controller is AUS Consulting LLC, a Florida limited liability company trading as Consulting by AUS. You can reach us at austin@byaus.co.
1. What we collect
Information you give us
- Application details. Your name, email address, phone number, and the answers you give in our application form, including information about your business, your budget and your goals.
- Booking details. Your name, email, phone number and chosen time when you schedule a call.
- Client account details. If you become a client, the information needed to deliver the program and administer your payment plan.
Information collected automatically
- Standard request data. IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the pages you visit.
- Video engagement. Whether a video was played and how far through it you watched.
- Session recording and heatmaps. Only if you accept when asked. Where you move your cursor, what you click and how you scroll on our marketing pages, so we can see where the page is confusing. See section 3.
2. What we do not collect
- We never handle your card details. Payments are taken by our payment processor. Card numbers never reach this website or our systems.
- We do not collect health information, and we do not want any.
- We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
3. Session recording, and your choice about it
We use two tools to record how our marketing pages are used: Microsoft Clarity and our own recorder, which stores replays on infrastructure we control.
Neither one starts until you accept. When you first land on a page that records, a bar appears at the bottom of the screen asking. Nothing is captured before you answer, and if you decline, nothing is captured at all. Declining does not limit your access to any part of this site.
What is recorded, and what is not:
- All form fields are masked. The recorder is configured to mask every input, so what you type is not captured.
- The client area and the admin dashboard are never recorded. Those routes are refused outright, before any page allowlist is consulted.
- Recording is limited to a fixed list of marketing pages. It does not follow you across the whole site.
To change your mind later, clear this site’s data in your browser settings and you will be asked again on your next visit.
4. Who we share it with
We use third party services to run the business. Each receives only what it needs to do its job, and each has its own privacy policy:
- Airtable — our customer records. Holds application and client data.
- Typeform — hosts our application form and receives what you submit.
- Cal.com and Calendly — scheduling. Receive your name, email and phone number in order to book the call.
- Microsoft Clarity — session recordings and heatmaps, if you accept.
- Whop — payments and conversion measurement.
- Vercel and Supabase — hosting and storage of the site and our own session replays.
- Discord and Skool — the client community, if you become a client.
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety. We do not sell your information to anyone.
5. How long we keep it
- Session replays: 7 days. Interaction and click data: 90 days. Both are then deleted automatically.
- Applications and enquiries: kept while there is a live commercial relationship or a realistic prospect of one.
- Client records: kept for the duration of the engagement and then for as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal purposes.
6. Marketing messages
If you give us your email address or phone number, we may contact you about our services by email, phone or text message, including through automated systems. Consent to marketing messages is never a condition of buying anything.
You can stop them at any time: reply STOP to any text, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or email austin@byaus.co. We action opt-outs promptly and in any event within 10 business days.
7. Your rights
Whatever jurisdiction you are in, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete it, subject to records we are legally required to retain.
- Stop sending you marketing.
Email austin@byaus.co and we will respond within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, internal areas are behind authentication, and access to customer records is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach affects you, we will tell you.
9. International visitors
We operate from the United States and process data there. If you are visiting from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and stored in the United States.
10. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
